Arizona Senior Living Options

Arizona senior living facilities such as Independent Living Communities are not licensed by the Arizona Department of Health because they are not licensed to provide care directly to their residents. Many independent living communities, however, have a licensed home care agency onsite to assist their residents with basic care needs. Care and the associated fees are arranged through the home care agency. Residents in a senior living facility of any kind can always hire an outside home care agency to assist them with their care needs.
